  24.       The hatch option allows you to draw crosshatching and calculate area, perimeter and other cross-sectional properties of regular or irregular areas on the drawing.
  25.       Generally, you will follow the order shown in the dialog box below, first clearing out any previous hatch file with New, then Picking the boundary objects, then calculating the Boundary itself, and finally beginning the Hatch process with spacing and offsets you designate.
